Press statement by MCA Publicity Bureau Chairman Senator Dato’ Chai Kim Sen

Lim Guan Eng must refrain from uncouth behaviour

Politicians must self exercise discipline, and refrain from shouting aloud rhetoric and then turn into a street mouse. DAP Secretary General Lim Guan Eng had recently threatened to send a wheelchair to MCA President Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai. Arrogance having gone to his head, Guan Eng has completely lost statesmanship befitting a character of a politician. His departure from traditional Chinese values is intolerable.

Guan Eng owes the MCA President an unconditional apology to quell public outrage against his unreasonable behaviour.

It is nothing new for Guan Eng to resort to vulgar language in

He shames himself and as his post as the Chief Minister of Penang with such foul language to arouse people’s hatred.

Guan Eng’s style has always been aggressive. He has the uncanny ability to twist MCA’s remarks with empty talk to attack our party. On the recent issue of Chinese primary schools, Guan Eng has been shown to be defeated when at Parliament, he rushed to Deputy Minister of Education Datuk Chong Sin Woon to stir some trouble, only to scurry away later on. Such behaviour does not come as surprising from DAP’s combative manners.

We do not expect Guan Eng will cease such antics, but as the 14th general election draws closer, we expect him to intensify his insults.

Other leaders in DAP are urged to admonish Guan Eng, urging him to withdraw his remarks and halt such insults, otherwise there will be disastrous consequences.
