Chini by-election: MCA Pekan upholds BN spirit of multiracialism; spares no effort to help win a landslide victory

Pekan, 2 July - Even though there aren’t many Chinese voters in Chini state constituency, MCA will campaign for Barisan Nasional in the spirit of multiracialism, and give our best efforts to assist BN candidate Mohd Sharim Md Zain obtain every vote possible. This was conveyed by MCA Vice President cum Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Lim Ban Hong during the campaign period at Chini.

Regardless of the location of the by-election, MCA maintains a high degree of proactivity and battle readiness at all times.

“I am impressed and satisfied with the esprit de corps shown by the MCA Pekan campaign team for Chini; and I pray everyone will keep up the good work for the remaining days to help Mohd Sharim win by a landslide,” Lim stressed.

“At the moment, our nation has entered a recovery mode and most operations have resumed as usual,” said Lim while adding that “nonetheless, during the Chini by-election campaign period, the main concern among voters appears to be the resuscitation of the economy. It couldn’t be clearer to us that the essential Movement Control Order has weighed heavy on our people.”
