Govt consistently disburses grants to TAR UC annually: DAP cheeky in claiming credit

DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng can be described as the cheekiest politician who dares to claim credit when it is not due.

Guan Eng and DAP have never failed to create issues to belittle Chinese education and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Therefore we should not be hoping for DAP to contribute towards Chinese education and neither should we be hoping for DAP lawmakers who graduated from TAR UC to appreciate their alma mater. We can only pray that DAP would stop playing terminator of Chinese education.

DAP’s statement is shameless and cheeky in the highest degree. The Ministry of Higher Education has announced that the RM30 million grant was long ready to be disbursed to TAR UC, and not merely haphazardly made available after DAP Rasah MP Teo Kok Seong’s enquiry in Parliament.

As the founder of TAR UC, MCA is duty-bound to ensure its development and never have to wait for DAP whose only concern is to gain cheap political mileage by slamming MCA.

TAR UC had been consistently receiving annual grants from the government. The last thing we want is DAP’s worry and claiming credit when it is not due.

DAP should also be criticised for having zero contribution to Chinese education, and is unable to construct even a kindergarten, let alone TAR UC. We urge DAP to stop claiming the credit of others as theirs, and stop sensationalising Chinese education and TAR UC.
