Maria Chin as Pakatan Harapan-friendly Independent candidate – Proof that NGO Bersih 2.0 used as front by the Opposition

As Bersih 2.0 former chairman Maria Chin Abdullah has officially announced that she will run as an Independent candidate aligned with Pakatan Harapan in the approaching 14th general election, this proves that Bersih 2.0 NGO is politically oriented and claiming to be an NGO, is just a façade for political activities.

It is also proven as to why when the election draws closer, the leader of the Opposition become the main character, and Opposition parties regard street rallies as the stage for their propaganda, as NGOs are aligned to them.

What makes people disappointed is that Maria Chin has deceived many people into believing her purported cause for clean and fair elections, when in fact, she has been using the public as a weapon for the Opposition to attack the federal government.

Most of the rally-goers who participated in Bersih street demonstrations were ordinary members of the public who took part for the sake of upholding clean and fair elections. However, netizens who called for clean and fair elections, have long rallied for the Opposition.

The most ridiculous thing is that Pakatan Harapan is a super whitewasher for “DAP 2.0”, bleaching “bullying tyrants, dictators” whom they in in the past had criticised as an election manipulator ie Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad.

Would the situation be such that the public has to rely on DAP or choose Pakatan Harapan, so that the dictator will become a hero of democracy, while DAP is reduced into a gentle kitten?

Although at the Pakatan Harapan headquarters, Maria China had stated during the press conference that she is currently not interested in representing any political party, simultaneously, if she wins a federal seat, will she still retain her status as an Independent legislator? Maria Chin had once emphasised that she will not contest in any polls. However, now she has committed one u-turn after another. What guarantees are there that she will not use a variety of excuses to commit another u-turn?

Carrying out u-turns seem to be the only consistent conduct of Opposition parties. Whatever they have promised is merely spoken for the audience to hear as they can change their position at any time.
