Guan Eng's racially-charged 'declaration of war'

In the history of Malaysia, no politician has made a more seditious statement than Lim Guan Eng's statement calling the collaboration between UMNO and PAS a declaration of ethnic war. Whether to support or to oppose the above collaboration, it’s for the rakyat to choose.

Any normal Rakyat who posts such an inciting statement would have already been picked up by the police for sedition.

But of course, as a Cabinet Minister, Guan Eng will get away with it.

Guan Eng's statement is totally unacceptable and he should be held responsible for inciting racial hatred and undermining the harmony of the country.

When you openly call this a declaration of racial war, you are only adding fuel to the fire.

You are just inviting the counter-party to accept the "declaration of war".

I cannot imagine the implications or repercussions if Guan Eng refuses to retract this statement and openly apologise.

I believe many will urge the authorities to investigate Guan Eng for sedition.

Let me remind you that PAS and DAP have worked together before.

However, PAS has now chosen a different partner with which to collaborate politically.

Rebut PAS and UMNO if you must but do not use such racially-charged statement and words such as declaration of racial war.

What will a non-Malay feel when he or she reads your statement?

What will a Malay react when they read your declaration of war?

For the sake of our nation, be a responsible politician.
