KUALA LUMPUR: A technician and his family are living in fear, following relentless harassment from loan sharks he borrowed money from.

The 42-year-old man, who only wants to be known as Wong, said he had borrowed money from multiple loan sharks for a personal matter in June last year.

“I managed to pay RM3,600 of a RM5,000 loan.

"When I enquired about settling the loan, the money lender demanded RM12,000.

“When I could not settle it, the man threatened to post my wife's pictures and distribute flyers to my neighbours.

“The man also threatened to find someone to rape my wife on Nov 3,” he said when met at the MCA public services and complaints department in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Nov 8).

Wong said he has lodged a police report on the matter at the Gombak police station on Nov 3.
