MCA relief squad sends 600 volunteers to flood-hit states

PETALING JAYA: More than 600 volunteers from MCA have been deployed to help out the flood-hit states of Penang and Kedah.

Comprising of the Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) and the MCA YouthCare Movement Malaysia, the volunteers cleaned up houses and school compounds in the northern states.

They also distributed 1,500 mattresses to the poor and needy in both states.

"In these most difficult times, we all band together," they said in a video.
