An invitation was extended to the Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) to participate in the three-day Selangor International Care Summit 2025 (SICS 2025), currently held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. CRSM will host an exhibition booth to exhibit its community service initiatives and engagement efforts. Organised under the framework of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS), SICS 2025 is an international platform dedicated to advancing the “care economy” through collaboration in policy, innovation, and investment. The summit brings together leaders and professionals in areas such as elderly care, disability support, childcare services, as well as health and wellness.

Throughout the three-day summit, delegates and exhibitors from both local and international organisations gather to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and explore new approaches in care and social development. The exhibition highlights advancements in geriatric services and assistive technologies for senior citizens, showcases solutions that support inclusivity and accessibility for people with disabilities, and presents initiatives for early childhood development that underline the importance of quality care in children’s growth. The health and wellness segment encourages open discussions on preventive care, mental health strategies, and holistic well-being. Alongside these thematic exhibitions, the summit features forums, panel sessions, business matching programs, and open dialogues designed to foster collaboration between policymakers, social enterprises, investors, and care organisations.

By participating in SICS 2025, CRSM aims to share its long-standing efforts in emergency response, social care, volunteer training, and community empowerment. CRSM also organised interactive mini-games and a spin-the-wheel activity at its booth to engage visitors and share its initiatives, offering small gifts as tokens of appreciation while promoting the values of care in a light-hearted manner.

In our capacity as CRSM, we will be participating in this summit that offers valuable opportunities to connect with stakeholders from various care sectors, and to promote the integration of compassion, innovation, and sustainability in national development. As CRSM marks its 20th anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to continue working alongside local and international NGOs in crisis relief and social support efforts.

SICS 2025 is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants, including government officials, corporate leaders, healthcare professionals, and non-profit organisations from across the region. The summit is envisioned to serve as a key platform for shaping the future of Malaysia’s care economy and strengthening the nation’s social resilience.
