Amanah must come clean on whether hudud is part of their agenda
 
Parti Amanah Negara MP Khalid Samad's recent revelation that PAS hudud proposals were a "red herring to dissociate from DAP because it feared losing Malay votes" (Free Malaysia Today, 17 Mar 2016) seems to imply or acknowledge that PAS has never been sincere as far as their hudud posturing is concerned.

Khalid seems to be saying that he, alongside other PAS and former PAS leaders have been hoodwinking PAS supporters all this while in this regard.

On the same basis, is Amanah also hoodwinking its members now by including hudud as part of their ultimate pursuit ?

Are they trying to fool their supporters to fish for votes for the DAP too ?

Both PAS and Amanah must now come clean to the public in all honesty in the name of GOD and to their members on the truth about hudud ie whether it was part of their respective agendas or mere political play.

If the leaders of these parties were truly “holy men” fighting for Islam, then they should have no problem coming with clean hands and be honest to God on their real intentions.

Don't waste the people's time, energy and resources or distract the nation building agenda by continuing with the hudud agenda or bogeyman but in truth  they are not serious about implementing it.

Be honest. Don't turn religion into a political circus.  Politics and Religion are serious matter. Do not be comical or play with the people's sentiments purely to bait for votes.

It is about time we stop these political charades and clowns from distracting us from the serious business of nation building.
