Allocation funding for non-Islamic organisations now open for applications

The allocation funding for repairs and maintenance of non-Islamic places of worship is now open for applications. Registered non-Islamic religious organisations may apply starting today at the National Unity Ministry (PERPADUAN)’s official website.

The National Unity Minister, Datuk Halimah binti Mohamed Sadique informed me personally, and I am extremely grateful and elated that the Ministry accepted our suggestion which helps the various non-Islamic religious bodies in Malaysia.

Thus, any non-Islamic organisation which is registered under the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and PERPADUAN, with a management-linked bank account, may apply for the allocation.

In order to facilitate the process, I have instructed the MCA Ethnic Relations and Religious Affairs Bureau as well as every MCA State Liaison Committee to assist any non-Islamic organisation interested to apply for the allocation.

The amount that can be applied have limits of RM50,000 or RM100,000 depending on the scope of the job, which will be used for the purpose of repairs, maintenance, and emergencies.

The application form is available at PERPADUAN’s official website (www.perpaduan.gov.my). Direct link: https://www.perpaduan.gov.my/admin/files/perpaduan/pdf/Program%20Bantuan%20Kewangan%20Rumah%20Ibadat%20Antara%20Islam.pdf
