Are DAP/PKR leaders admitting that there will be no Malay Tsunami?

Yesterday, PKR's Tian Chua admitted that he is hesitant to contest in Johor in the seats of Tebrau and Ledang which has more Malay voters although Harapan has declared Johor as the key battleground state.

At the same time, PKR's Xavier Jayakumar was forced to move seats after he said that his current Sungai Kandis seat in Selangor has now got more Malays after the redelineation.

Similarly, DAP's Tony Pua does not want to go to Bentong in Pahang while Gobind Singh, Teoh Nie Ching and Boo Cheng Hau are hesitant to be re-deployed to other seats in Johor which have a greater population of Malay voters.

Even Lim Kit Siang, the DAP Parliamentary leader, continues to advocate the so-called Malay tsunami. However, when UMNO incumbent Johor Baru MP Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad challenged the DAP stalwart many times to contest in Johor Baru, Kit Siang repeatedly evaded a response. Finally, his son Lim Guan Eng who is also the Secretary General of DAP, announced that Kit Siang will defend Gelang Patah,  now known as Iskandar Puteri.

It seems that these more well-known PKR and DAP leaders are avoiding Malay-majority seats.

This begs the question if they already know that here will be no Malay Tsunami as certain Harapan leaders have claimed.

If there is going to be a Malay Tsunami as they claimed, shouldn't these PKR and DAP leaders be rushing to those seats with more Malay voters in order to ride the wave of the Tsunami instead of staying away?
