Liow: Government focused on supporting Malaysian workforce

Malaysia’s economic development has been spurred on by the efforts of its Rakyat. Hence, the welfare and quality of life of our Malaysian workforce continues to be a key focus for the Barisan Nasional Government. Over the years, we have sought to provide a strong safety net for workers, and we continue to do so through various initiatives.

I fully believe that we are well on-track to grow as a competitive, developed nation, even as more Government-led initiatives are launched to benefit the Rakyat.

Happy Labour Day to my fellow Malaysians and thank you for the contribution of each of you to our nation’s growth.
