KUALA LUMPUR: Ayer Hitam MP and MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has asked the government to spell out exactly what would be reviewed in the NEP.
“We are still unclear of what the Pakatan Harapan government will be reviewing.
“It was drafted when the current Prime Minister was previously in power,” Wee told reporters here yesterday.
He added that the review must not be superficial and must benefit all races.
“We only want consistency in their statements,” said Wee.
Asked if the review could create a fairer policy, Dr Wee said, “yes it can turn into a fair system or it can be just a literature review.
“They must let us know what they are re-examining,” he added.
