MCA Youth vows full support for UTAR Hospital fundraising campaign, for a brighter future in medicine

MCA Youth voices full support for the UTAR Hospital fundraising campaign initiated by the main body of MCA. In order to ensure the campaign’s success, MCA Youth will muster the strength of all members nationwide, and in the spirit of “receive from the public, return to society”, we hope to consolidate the strength of the public to participate in this visionary project for the community’s health.

The total cost of the hospital including construction, facilities and equipment, is estimated at around RM330 million. To achieve this sum, MCA will be conducting fundraising in phases, with the first target being RM3.45 million. MCA Youth as well, will join hands in the fundraising events organised, and we urge the public to join us in charity. Together, we will be able to bring this community-centred project to life, ensuring years of medical excellence.

The conceptualisation and realisation of the UTAR hospital has a profound meaning in both education and medicine. It is not just within the scope of “UTAR serving the surrounding community”, but the hospital will also serve as a birthing place of many medical talents for years to come, elevating the healthcare system of Malaysia.

Hence, MCA National Youth will plan and coordinate with MCA Youth divisions and branches nationwide, and we hope that the public will join us in the exciting fundraising activities, and build UTAR Hospital together.
