Police looking for three blackmailing Casanovas
Police are looking for three Casanovas who allegedly blackmailed women into becoming sex slaves.
Though all three suspects operated independently, their modus operandi was similar – they threatened to post their lovers’ pictures on the Internet when their girlfriends wanted to end their relationships.
Three women, identified only as Ong, Liew and Liau had respectively lodged police reports at the Kajang, Ampang and Seremban police districts recently.
Both Ong and Liew also related their trauma at a press conference at MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong’s office.
Ong said she had befriended a Middle-Eastern man through the Internet last year and was soon involved in an “intimate” relationship.
Last July, the man threatened to beat her unless she agreed to have her pictures taken while they were having sex.
He later threatened to circulate the pictures on the Internet if she stopped having sex with him.
She said the man recently e-mailed her photographs to her course mates and lecturers.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Rusli Mohd Nizam said that his officers had begun investigations and would resolve the matter soon.
Meanwhile, Chong has this advice for women.
“Do not be a sex slave to such men. Their intention is solely to have free sex, which is why many deceive their way into taking nude pictures as an insurance should the victims call it quits.”
“They would often give the excuse that they wanted to keep the pictures or video as a souvenir.”
