Three MCA candidates for the Bagan parliamentary seat and two state seats will go all out to resolve the local people’s livelihood issues, especially the flooding problems that have plagued  people for a long time. They will build more infrastructure and bring the people a better life.

The candidate for the Bagan parliamentary seat, Datuk Michael Lee Beng Seng, pointed out that even there were a chief minister and two EXCOs in Bagan over the past ten years, but the local people’s livelihood problem continues.  It proves that DAP MP and assemblymen did not serve the people at all.

He pointed out that what is even more intolerable is that the Penang PH government is suspected to use inferior materials in their projects, and turn out substandard goods. The lamp posts of Raja Uda Road collapsed after hanging up the Chinese New Year lanterns.  This has threatened the safety of road users.

“There are many problems in the entire Bagan constituency.  We are whole-heartedly commited to help the people to solve the problems one by one. Please vote for me. I will do my best to deliver my commitment!"

The candidate for Bagan Jermal, Ang Chor Keong said that if he is elected, the voice of the people will be brought into the state legislative assembly.  He will also stop all kinds of abuses and corruption of the government occurring again in Bagan Jermal.

Flood is a recurring issue that plagues local residents. Hong Zuyu said that a special team of experts will be formed to discuss the latest technology that will put the flood woes to an end, once and for all.

"In addition, I will also upgrade Bagan Jermal market by expanding it into two floors. Upstairs will be a multi-purpose centre or sports centre. Downstairs will be a more comfortable and perfect hawker center. ”

Ang Chor Keong promises to champion for more affordable housing in Bagan Jermal, empowering the youngsters to fulfills the dream of owning their homes.

"I also plan to open an eloquence class to train the next generation of eloquence and communication skills so that they can have a broader future and be more proficient in the workplace."

The candidate for Sungai Puyu, Lim Hai Song, criticized the DAP-led Penang government for being highly inefficient in solving people’s livelihood issues.

"The people need really down-to-earth services from MCA. I hope that the voters will vote for me and let me solve the various livelihood issues ignored and left behind by Pakatan Harapan."

He said that if he is elected, he will try his best to fight for the welfare and infrastructure for the people of Sungai Puyu.

“I will build a comprehensive center where the youth, middle-aged and senior citizens can enjoy their bonding time together.”
