MCA Bukit Mertajam parliamentary and state seats

(Penang) Four MCA candidates for Bukit Mertajam parliamentary seat and three state seats are ready to inject new technological elements into Bukit Mertajam to revitalize the local economy while addressing public security and flood issues. They are aiming to create a progress, prosperity, and safety Bukit Mertajam!

The candidate for Bukit Mertajam Gui Guat Lye pointed out that the development of local economy must have long-term plans, and he has planned six major goals to revive Bukit Mertajam economy.

“First, I will revitalize Bukit Mertajam old town economy. Second, I will solve the flooding problem in Bukit Mertajam.  Third, I will revitalize the Bukit Mertajam SMEs via One Belt and One Road."

“Fourth, I will promote the sales of agriculture in Bukit Mertajam new villages. Fifth, I will strengthen tourist attractions at Bukit Mertajam and increase tourist flows. Sixth, I will continue to strengthen youth technology training to create a progressive, prosperity, and safety Bukit Mertajam. ”

The candidate for Machang Bubuk is also Penang MCA chairman Datuk Tan Teik Cheng.  He said if he is elected, he will make full use of the federal government platform to solve the public security problem.

“I will set up a police station in Machang Bubuk to step up the police force to deal with local crimes.  At the same time I will strengthen Voluntary Security Team Bukit Mertajam.”

He will solve the traffic problem due to the rise of new towns in Machang Bubuk via federal government.

“Flash floods in Penang are an urgent problem to be solved. I will launch a highly effective mitigation plan through the state government platform.  People's problem is my problem.  MCA service is the guarantee to gain the people's confidence! ”

The candidate for Berapit, Goh Swee Gim also wished to set up a comprehensive activity center there for the benefit of local residents.

"If I am elected, I will certainly deliver my promise in the state legislative assembly.  I will do my utmost to assist the people, care for the people, listen to the people, and improve people's livelihood! ”

The candidate for Padang Lalang, Kuan Hin Yeep hopes that the people will cast him a vote in order to enter the state assembly to fight for the welfare of the Padang Lalang voters.

“MCA did not have any seats in Bukit Mertajam over the past two general elections. This is a very unhealthy phenomenon. In any case, voters are beginning to think that they cannot allow a party being in power for too long. I believe that MCA will make a breakthrough in this general election and enter the state assembly to monitor the state government. ”

He said that he will inject new elements into Bukit Mertajam, including setting up a community mobile app that will allow all Padang Lalang residents to step into the Internet era.
