The 5th World Association Presidents’ Conference (WAPC), which will be held on 2nd December, will be featuring a special “Business Matching Session”, covering different sectors. This session will provide an excellent platform for Malaysian and Chinese businesses to connect with each other, offering greater opportunities for business development and networking.

The WAPC is co-organised by the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce. The theme of his conference is “Promoting Trade Liberalisation and Advancing Economic Globalisation”. The venue will be at Wisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur. An estimate of 600 entrepreneurs from Malaysia and China are expected to attend this conference, including representatives from over 300 Chinese companies.

The conference will be divided into four main categories: the main forum, the Business Matching Session, the World Presidents’ and CEOs Closed-Door Roundtable Meeting, the Gala Dinner Celebrating The 50th Anniversary of Malaysia-China Diplomatic Relations and The World Association Presidents’ Conference.

The Business Matching Session will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at M1 and M2 halls, located at M floor of Wisma MCA. To ensure the efficiency of this session, the session has been segmented into 9 key sectors. These sectors are: Education and Training, Healthcare, Food and Agriculture, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Halal Industry, Real Estate, Electronics and Electrical Appliances, E-commerce, Industrial Energy, etc. These segments will enable participating businesses to well allocate their time and resources to ensure a productive matching session within their respective sectors.

This Business Matching Session will provide local businesses with an excellent opportunity and platform to expand into the Chinese market. Including sales of products to China, networking and seeking Chinese partners, and the establishment of key contacts in China.
