Not beneath DAP to spread hate -  DAP Balakong candidate Ng Tien Chee owes every religion an apology

DAP’s Balakong candidate Ng Tien Chee must be denounced for his senseless gibbering. If he has admitted to participating in the production of the “Villain Hitting” clip which stars local members of DAP, how on earth is he still denying its association to DAP?

Ng Tien Chee says that that the clip aims to highlight grievances of the people, not the cursings. His excuse that the actor-members were oblivious of the overarching plot is completely bonkers. Were they totally unaware of chanting “break all limbs, get hit by a car” while whacking the people in the photos with footwear?

The viral ‘Villain Hitting’ clip drips with venom; and Ng Tien Chee ought not to have shirked responsibility by claiming as though all those actors are DAP members. It has nothing at all to do with DAP.

The clip has demeaned the teachings of religions that promote harmony, peace and blessings. The Abbot of Fo Guang Shan, Master Chen Yue, preaches that one should neither curse nor create hate; this is simply not the way of Buddhism. The Chairman of the Federation of Taoist Associations Malaysia Tan Hoe Chieow also declared that “Villain Hitting” and cursing are disgraceful to Taoists everywhere, and such actions tarnish Taoism’s tradition and reputation.

The video has also used the Christian hymn ‘Amazing Grace’, and this is a clear affront to Christianity.

Ng Tien Chee should firstly apologise to Buddhist associations and Buddhists, Taoist associations and their devotees, as well as to Christianity and Christians.

Ng Tien Chee is urged to step out and explain his contradictory words with video producer Andy’s. Ng claimed that he did not circulate the video due to the sensitive content, while Andy revealed that he and Ng each has a copy, where without permission from both sides, it will not be shared. When asked whether Ng bought over the video, Andy said he was not at the liberty to disclose. But then, how did the video get uploaded?

In an interview, Andy commented that the shooting of the video was done only after discussing its conception with Ng Tien Chee. Could the “Villain Hitting” and cursing be Ng’s idea? And, without his permission, how did the video land in the web?

DAP’s unceasing advocacy of hate culture must be condemend. If DAP continues to propagate hate, our society is heading towards a turbulent future.

I hope that the police will be able to solve the case as soon as possible; unmasking the mastermind and serve him justice.
